Vista Heights is a community in the North East quadrant of the city of Calgary.
Development of this smaller community started in the early 1960's and comprises mainly of bungalows with some condos.
The neighbourhood borders the South Airways Industrial Area, to the north, with green spaces and bike paths for all to enjoy on the outside edges of the area.
Because of this border, there is no crossing threw this community to get to another. Beautiful downtown and city views from the western edge of the city.
Excellent location for easy access to anywhere in and or out of the city due to the fact that it borders Deerfoot Trail to the west and 16th Avenue (Highway One) to the south and Barlow Trail to the east.
The neighbourhood to the south divided by 16th Avenue N.E.(Highway one) is Mayland Heights.
Excellent bus service in the area providing quick access to the downtown core.
Shopping can be found along 16th Avenue, with easy access to Sundridge Mall on 36th Street NE.
Schools can be found in the community and surrounding neighbourhoods.
