Redwood Meadows is a community approximately 25 kilometres west of the city of Calgary. From Calgary you can travel to this community by heading west on Highway 8. At the end of this highway, you would go south at the traffic circle onto Highway 22.
This is a small neighbourly community with construction starting in the late 1970’s. The land is leased to the residents by the Tsuu T'ina Nation.
The Community Center is known as Redwood House and families enjoy the many activities that can be found at this friendly neighbourhood town hall.
A very family oriented community with many organized sports teams and lots of recreational activities, many of which are enjoyed at the park/playground and rink across from the Redwood House.
This community is nestled in the forest and residents enjoy the peace and tranquillity all within a close proximity to the city. Neighbours to the south are Bragg Creek and to the north is Cochrane.
In the summer, there are trails, the river and a golf course to enjoy. In the winter, residents enjoy cross –country skiing.
Shopping can be found in Bragg Creek or in Cochrane, however, Calgary is only a short drive away.
Children are bussed to schools in either of the neighbouring communities.
