Patterson Heights is a community in the South West area of Calgary. The community was developed in the early 1980's.
The name originated from the family who had owned much of the property prior to it being developed.
Interestingly enough, some people still refer to this area as Broadcast Hill because of the huge CFCN tower.
Beautiful large homes and condos can be found in this community. Many of the homes and/or condos have beautiful views, be they downtown, mountain or valley views.
Treed lined streets with many green spaces to enjoy the outdoors.
Patterson is located just north of Coach Hill just off of the road known as Old Banff Coach Road. This road leads to Bow Trail for quick easy access to the downtown core.
The LRT (Light Rail Transit) is conveniently located just south of the community at 69th Street and 17th Avenue SW.
69th Street changes it name to Strathcona Blvd. through the community of Strathcona, once it crosses 17th Avenue. Then when it crosses Bow Trail the name becomes Old Banff Coach Road through the communities of Coach Hill, Patterson Heights, West Springs, and Cougar Ridge.
Shopping in neighbouring communities such as West Springs, Strathcona Park and Aspen Woods.
