Ogden is a community in the South East quadrant of the city of Calgary.
Development started in the mid 1900's, it is one of the older communities in Calgary. The neighbourhood consists mainly of older type single family bunglows. The eastern portion of the community is home to an industrial park.
Some combine Ogden with the community north of it, being Lynnwood/Millican.
The community can be found on the north east corner of Deerfoot Trail and Glenmore trail, which provides the residents with quick easy access to anywhere in the city. (Deerfoot Trail runs north/south through the city and beyond, while Glenmore Trail runs east/west through the city and beyond.)
Green spaces, parks and access to the bike pathway system are enjoyed by many residents of this community. View of the Bow River and the mountains from some areas in the neighbourhood.
Shopping can be found in the neighbouring communities, but with quick access to Glenmore Trail, the Chinook Centre is a short drive away.
Lynnwood is the neighbour to the north of the community, while Riverbend is the neighbour, separated by Glenmore Trail.
