Montgomery is a community in the North West quadrant of the city of Calgary.
Development of the community started in the early 1910's, and the area consist mainly of smaller style bungalows homes.
Well situated on the banks of the Bow River, which provides residents with excellent views and a peaceful area in which to stroll.
Many outdoor activities are enjoyed at Shouldice Park within the neighbourhood.
Quick access to downtown or the mountains, as the community is situated on 16th Avenue NW (Highway One). The neighbourhood is actually divided by this major route.
Neighbours to the west include Bowness, to the east separated by Shaganappi Trail is Parkdale and Point McKay.
Shopping can be found along 16th Avenue NW (Highway One) but also just slightly north on Shaganappi Trail is where Market Mall is located.
