McKenzie Towne is a community in the South East quadrant of the city of Calgary.
The community was developed in the early 1980's and consists mainly of single family homes with some multi-family units including condos and town homes.
The community has lots of parks and playgrounds including a splash park for residents to enjoy.
The community is also home to Inverness Park and Inverness Pond, both providing residents with green space and tranquility.
Presetwick is an area within the community on the north side of the well known traffic circle.
Neighbours to the east are New Brighton and Copperfield, to the west is McKenzie Lake. The neighbourhood to the south divided by Highway 22X (Marquis of Lorne Trail) is Auburn Bay.
Shopping is conveniently located in the community with additional shopping in the neighbouring community of New Brighton.
Excellent bus service to the core. Vehicle access to downtown via Deerfoot Trail.
Schools can be found in the neighbourhood as well as surrounding communities.
