Kingsland is a community in the South West quadrant of the city of Calgary.
Development of this small community started in the early 1960's and has a mixture of single family homes and multi-family residences all enjoying the many parks and playgrounds.
Ideally situated close to both Heritage Park and the Rockyview Hospital, just west of the neighbouring communities of Kelvin Grove and Chinook Park.
The Neighbourhood is bordered by Elbow Drive to the west, MacLeod Trail to the east, Heritage Drive SW to the south and Glenmore Trail to the north.
Neighbours include Fairview to the east of the community, divided by MacLeod Trail, Chinook Park and Kelvin Grove to the west. Haysboro is the neighbouring community to the south with the community of Meadowlark Park to the north, divided by Glenmore Trail.
Excellent location due to quick access to the major routes such as Glenmore Trail, MacLeod Trail and Heritage Drive.
The LRT (Light Rail Transit) station of Heritage can be found in the neighbouring community of Haysboro at Heritage Drive and MacLeod Trail.
Shopping can be found, on Elbow Drive and MacLeod Trail. Very close proximity to the Chinook Centre.
