Diamond Cove is a small community in the South East quadrant of the city of Calgary. It is located east of Bow bottom Trail in the north east section of the community of Queensland.
The community started it's development in the early 1990's and consists of single family homes.
The neighbourhood overlooks Fish Creek Park with views of the Bow River in some areas.
Fish Creek Park is one of Canada's largest urban parks. Boundaries to the west is the T'suu Tina Nation Land and to the east is the Bow River.
So many things to enjoy at Fish Creek Park. There is simply so much beauty and tranquility and all so close to and/or connected to so many communities.
There is the Sikome Aquatic Facility, which is a man made lake opened from June to September of each year.
There are picnic sites and lots of pathways and trails to enjoy.
As well, you can find the Bow Valley Ranch Visitors Centre and the Fish Creek Environmental Learning Centre.
There is shopping nearby in the community of Deer Ridge at the Deer Valley Shopping Centre, but both South Centre Mall and Chinook Mall are in close proximity as well.
Bus service is available with the closest LRT (Light Rail Transit) located a little north and west of the community in the neighbourhood of Canyon Meadows.
