Connaught is a community in the South West area of the city of Calgary.
It was originally developed in the early 1900's and is one of the oldest communities in the city.
Most of the neighbourhood is made up of apartments, town homes and condos.
The community is considered as the western edge of the Beltline.
As An inner-city community it is within walking distance to the core.
Shopping Can be found throughout the downtown area. The downtown mall known as "The Core" is in close proximity to th neighbourhood.
While Chinook Centre is located on MacLeod Trail further south of the community.
Beautiful green spaces in spite of the inner city location. Bike path system is close on hand.
