Winston Heights is a community in the North East quadrant of the city of Calgary. It has also been known as Mountview.
Development of this smaller community started in the early 1930's and comprises mainly of bungalows with some condos and townhouses.
The neighbourhood borders a golf course to the north/north east of the community.
Lots of green spaces and bike paths for all to enjoy with views of downtown from some areas.
Excellent location for easy access to anywhere in and or out of the city due to the fact that it borders Deerfoot Trail to the east and 16th Avenue (Highway One) to the south and Edmonton Trail to the west. The neighbourhood to the south divided by 16th Avenue N.E.(Highway one) is Renfrew.
Excellent bus service in the area providing quick access to the downtown core. Shopping can be found along 16th Avenue, with easy access to Sundridge Mall on 36th Street NE.
Schools can be found in the community and surrounding neighbourhoods.
