North Glenmore Park is a community in the South West area of Calgary. The community was developed in the late 1950's into the 1960's.

The name was chosen because of the proximity to the natural park bearing the same name.

Single family bungalow style homes can be found in this community.

North Glenmore Park

Many Green spaces and parks for families to enjoy throughout this community including Glenmore Atheletic Park and two golf courses.

Naturally with the park directly south of the community, there are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy, canoeing, biking, nature hikes at the Weaslhead, a natural environmental park.

Many families spend the entire day at the North Glenmore Park, where they can enjoy a picnic at the many spots particularly designated for such activities, with so much to do, there is fun for everyone.

All this natural beauty within close distance to downtown. A quick drive along Crowchild Trail is all that is between this community and the city centre.

There is excellent bus service either directly to downtown or the LRT (Light Rail Transit)

The neighbourhood is divided by Glenmore Trail, with some of the community south of this major route neighbouring Lakeview. North of Glenmore Trail, it becomes neighbours with Altadore.
